When I first moved to Paris, I spent several months living in Montmartre. It was the quiet side streets and hidden alleys that made the neighbourhood feel so magical. Captured just steps from where I lived near Sacré-Cœur, this scene would later become the cover image for the Paris Issue of Here & There Series.
Reimagined through the historic cyanotype process, this quiet corner of Montmartre takes on a new life in shades of Prussian blue. Each print is individually hand-coated, exposed using UV light, and developed by hand. Natural variations in tone, brushwork, and texture are part of the process, ensuring that every cyanotype is a one-of-a-kind interpretation of a place that continues to hold special meaning.
Due to the handmade nature of the process, availability is intentionally limited.
