Let me start off by saying, this isn't the first time I'm writing about Paris here, and it definitely won't be the last!
With the excitement of the Summer Olympics kicking off today in Paris, I've been reminiscing through my catalog of images taken between 2016 and 2021. Don't get me wrong, I am very excited to watch the Olympics, but I am also somewhat relieved not to be amidst the chaos and crowds right now though what a great time to be shooting around the city!
I'm excited to announce the launch of new prints in my online shop titled 'Paris, Je t'aime' in the coming days. I know the title isn't the most original, but it perfectly captures my feelings for this incredible city. If you've ever visited Paris, watched a film based there, or browsed images of it, you know there's something truly special and magical about this city.
Living in Paris was different from visiting. The daily routines and work sometimes dulled the sparkle, but then planning a shoot among the amazing backdrop that is Paris, or simply an evening walk with a friend along the Seine with the Eiffel Tower in the distance would remind me, again and again, that I lived in Paris!

Many of the new prints are from my series titled 'Somewhere In-Between.' This project helped me familiarize myself with the streets of Paris, transitioning from an 'outsider' to an 'insider.' It wasn't long before I could navigate the city's 20 arrondissements without Google Maps. Whether on foot or by bike, I always had my camera to capture the moments around me.

In the upcoming prints, you'll find many architectural photographs, but also some candid moments of people going about their day. I believe that how people interact with their surroundings can truly capture the essence of that setting, especially within a still image.
Here is a small sneak peek at some of the limited images. Click here to see the full series!
